Zikirdaim — Privacy Policy

Applies to the Android app Zikirdaim (com.mkayin.zikrdaim).
Effective 21 August 2026. Last updated 21 August 2026.

In short

Zikirdaim has no account and no sign-in. Your dhikrs, counts, settings and du'a attachments are stored only on your phone; the app does not upload them anywhere, and device backup is switched off for this app. The only data that leaves your device is what Google needs in order to show ads.

Who is responsible

The app is published by Aysn. For any question about this policy or about your data, write to aysnkayin@gmail.com.

What stays on your device

The following is created by you and never leaves the phone:

When you add a photo, Android's photo picker is used: the app never asks for access to your gallery and never reads any other picture. The one photo you choose is copied into the app's own private folder, resized, and used only inside the app.

This data is not backed up to any cloud. The app declares android:allowBackup="false", so Android does not copy it to your Google Drive and does not transfer it to a new phone. Deleting a dhikr deletes its photo; uninstalling the app deletes everything.

What leaves your device: advertising

Zikirdaim is free and shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve those ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares the following, as described in Google's own disclosure:

DataWhat it isUsed for
Approximate locationEstimated from your IP address. The app does not ask for location permission and does not use GPS.Advertising and marketing, analytics, fraud prevention and security
In-app interactionsEvents such as app opens, taps and ad views
DiagnosticsTechnical signals such as launch time, hang rate, energy use
Device or other identifiersThe Android advertising ID (AAID) and app set ID

This data is sent to Google, encrypted in transit with TLS. It is handled under Google's Privacy Policy; how Google uses data from apps that use its services is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Your dhikrs, counts and du'a attachments are never part of an ad request.

Permissions the app requests

Children

Zikirdaim is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country).

Retention and deletion

Because the app keeps no account and no server-side copy, there is nothing for us to store or to delete on your behalf. Data on the device is removed when you delete a dhikr or uninstall the app. For data held by Google in connection with advertising, see Google's Privacy Policy and the ad settings linked above.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your personal data. The app itself holds no personal data outside your device; for the advertising data described above, requests can be directed to Google, or to us at aysnkayin@gmail.com and we will help where we can.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes on Google Play.
